Help Us

We work hard to provide an awesome, well-maintained park and host exciting events — and none of it would be possible without our dedicated volunteers. Many hands make light work, and we’re always looking for enthusiastic people to join the team.

What You Get from Volunteering

  • Meet and connect with like-minded riders and club members
  • A sense of achievement after clearing, building, or repairing a trail
  • Learn new skills in trail maintenance, event support, and safety
  • Be part of a community that keeps mountain biking thriving in Gladstone
  • Early access to club events and rides in some cases

Volunteering is fun, rewarding, and a great way to give back to the trails and community you love.

Ways to Help

There are lots of ways you can make a difference — you don’t have to be out on the trails to contribute!

  • Trail Maintenance & Construction: clearing, building, and repairing trails

  • Event Support: setup, marshalling, registration, and logistics for club rides and competitions

  • Behind the Scenes / Administration: helping with social media, communications, and general club operations

  • Committee & Planning: attending meetings, contributing ideas, and helping guide club activities

How to Get Involved

  1. Decide how you’d like to help

    • Field work: trail maintenance, clearing, or building
    • Events: setup, marshalling, registration, or behind-the-scenes coordination
    • Administration: helping with social media, communications, or club logistics
  2. Sign up for a session or event

    • Check our social media for upcoming volunteer days, committee meetings and events
    • Contact the club to let us know you’re coming
    • Become a club member. For insurance purposes, all volunteers must be a club member. Check the "Join Us" page for more information on how to become a member.
  3. Show up and get stuck in

    • Wear appropriate clothing and bring water, gloves, and sunscreen if needed
    • Don’t worry if it’s your first time — experienced volunteers will show you the ropes
  4. Enjoy the experience

    • Meet new people, learn new skills, and see the immediate impact of your efforts
    • Take pride in helping keep the trails safe, fun, and accessible for everyone
  5. Stay connected

    • Follow our social media accounts to find out about future volunteering opportunities
